Better Lighting for Your Computer – With F.lux

I’ve read that staring at a bright computer screen or television at night can interfere with sleep patterns.  I often have trouble sleeping, so I was interested to read about f.lux, an application for computers that adjusts the lighting of your computer screen to match the time of day.  F.lux says their application adjusts your screen to look like the room you’re in – brighter like sunlight during the day, and warmer like your room lights at night.  The theory is that the dimmer, warmer lighting at night might not have such a negative impact on your sleep patterns.  F.lux is available for Windows (XP, Vista, and 7), Mac OS X, and Linux computers, and downloads are free. ...
